About me

| Katie Bish – Professional Makeup Artist & ADHD Makeup Educator in Hertfordshire

Hi, I’m Katie Bish, a professionally trained makeup artist and educator based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. I’ve been creating confident, camera-ready faces since 2009, working with bridal, television, and editorial clients across the UK.

I trained at London MUSE Makeup School under world-renowned makeup artist Nicci Jackson, and continued my education with David Horne at The House of Glamdolls. Over the past 15+ years, my work has been featured in Hello! Magazine, Perfect Weddings, The Sun, and on shows such as Britain’s Got Talent, Daybreak, and Good Morning America.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2025, and that moment changed how I understood my creativity and focus. Makeup has always been my hyperfocus — the one thing that keeps me grounded, energised, and connected to others. I now use that same insight to support women who want to feel confident, seen, and understood, especially those who may also identify as neurodivergent.

Through my business, I combine my professional artistry with a deep understanding of how makeup can boost self-esteem, organisation, and daily confidence — even for busy or overwhelmed minds. Whether you’re preparing for your wedding day, a special occasion, or simply want to refresh your everyday look, I create a calm, supportive experience that celebrates you.

I work exclusively with premium, long-wear, high-definition products from brands such as Armani Beauty, NARS, MAC, and Illamasqua, carefully selected to suit your skin tone, texture, and colouring.

I am fully insured, operate to Safe Beauty Association hygiene standards, and hold a GNVQ in Makeup Theory and Application.

When I’m not working with clients, I teach inside The Hyperfocus Makeup Academy — an ADHD-friendly online makeup school helping women break out of beauty overwhelm, master their makeup routines, and rediscover their confidence from home.

Because the right makeup doesn’t just change how you look — it changes how you feel.

💄 Education & Workshops

The Hyperfocus Makeup Academy

Founder of The Hyperfocus Makeup Academy, an ADHD-friendly online makeup school teaching real-life makeup skills through virtual lessons, colour analysis sessions, and confidence workshops.
My goal is to help women simplify their makeup routines and rediscover joy in their reflection — without overwhelm or comparison.

🧠 ADHD Coaching & Confidence Support

After my ADHD diagnosis in 2025, I began specialising in makeup coaching for neurodivergent women — helping clients build structure, confidence, and self-belief through beauty.
My ADHD-friendly methods blend professional artistry with real-world strategies that work for busy, creative minds.

You’ve got questions. I’ve got answers.

What makes your makeup lessons ADHD-friendly?

I design every lesson and workshop with neurodivergent minds in mind — short, focused, and step-by-step. There’s no information overload or judgment, just simple systems that make makeup feel achievable and fun again.

Do I need to be diagnosed with ADHD to join your makeup school?

Not at all! Many of my clients are busy women who love the ADHD-friendly approach because it’s calm, structured, and realistic for real life — whether you have a diagnosis or not.

Do you still offer bridal makeup?

Yes, I continue to offer luxury bridal makeup throughout Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. My style is timeless, glowing, and confidence-focused — perfect for real brides who want to feel like themselves on their wedding day.
